The MIT Solve Global Challenges is an annual competition that seeks tech-based solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. For 2024, there are several challenge categories, including Economic Prosperity, Climate Adaptation, Health Equity, and Inclusive Learning.
Participants are invited to submit innovative solutions addressing topics such as financial inclusion, economic resilience, climate action, and equitable health systems. Applications are open to innovators worldwide, and selected finalists join the Solver Class. Solver teams benefit from a nine-month support program that includes mentorship, access to MIT’s networks, and funding. There is over $1 million in prize money, with individual awards like the $10,000 Solver Awardand larger specialized prizes for AI, financial inclusion, and other focus areas.
The application deadline for the 2024 challenges is April 18, 2024. Finalists will present their solutions at events like the Solve Challenge Finals during U.N. General Assembly Week.
